Employment Opportunities

We are not currently hiring full time employees. However, we are seeking 3 interns for this summer from June-August 2010. Candidates looking to eventually become entrepreneurs or consultants can learn a lot. The work environment is the complete opposite of the corporate environment- very relaxed, extremely flexible work schedule, lots of sunlight, and sometimes we take Wii breaks.

Internship #1 (2 spots): Ecommerce/Business Analyst
You'll learn all about every aspect of running an ecommerce business, but the focus will be on improving the site's Google Pagerank and boosting web sales. You'll be working on improving SEO, creating and optimizing CPC ads, maintaining social media presence, identifying and implementing industry best-practices, and searching for web partnership opportunities.

Requirements:
-Business Major, Comp Sci Major, or both
-Basic html is required, php/javascript/flash is a plus
-Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop is a plus
-Must play tennis or at least have an interest in the sport

Internship #2 (1 spot): Videographer
The focus will be solely on creating video content for Solow Sports' Youtube channel. We will create a number of videos over the course of the internship. You'll be responsible for every step of the video production process from conceptualization to scripting/storyboarding to casting to making a production schedule, post-production editing, and finally publishing. Aside from the fact that the videos have to help market the business, there's no restriction on the content or style of the videos. It'll be a good opportunity to develop a portfolio of a variety of work, and it will get a you lot of exposure.

Requirements:
-Film Major
-Must be very creative. This project is fairly open-ended.
-Familiarity with Adobe Premier CS3+
-Must play tennis or at least have an interest in the sport
